These are some of my first embroidery projects, using just backstitch. Both were made for my fiancé, and he is really proud of them and showing them off to his friends. They aren't framed or sewn onto anything yet because we are constantly moving at the moment, and so logistically it's not great, Hopefully I'll frame them in about 6 months, or make a cushion cover using them. The thread colours were chosen by my fiancé and was initially for just the Dodo, but then I decided to make a Darwin as well to surprise him, just couldn't be bothered to buy new colours.

Comments and criticisms appreciated. Thanks for looking.

Great Dodo. Saw the picture and thought "Eyre Affair". Always loved Dodos anyway.

haha Darwin and a dodo -- pretty funny!

They are both really well done.

And yeah to your BF for being craft supportive!  That's always so nice to hear.
