This was my first ever applique project, made for a friend for her birthday.

The Tardis!



Who doesn't love the Tardis? It was made mostly from scrap fabrics I had lying around and done on a lark. I actually didn't even have fusible web or look at any instructions on applique at all. I used iron on interfacing (which explains why it is a little crooked) and winged it majorly. But I like it anyway, and my friend loved it when she got it, which is nice.



And the best thing about it is that the stitching on the light on top and the windows and the embroidery that says police box are done with glow in the dark thread!
