Hi everyone!  I made this polka-dot clutch and then I sewed all the buttons on by hand!  The inside is lined with a light cream colored fabric and it closes with elastic that can be wrapped around any button you so choose.  So here it is!  Hope you guys like it!

That's cute. I really like the dots where you used "shaped" buttons. It reminds me of pop art.

It's cute, cute, cute! What a great idea, using the polka dots to place the buttons. Would love to see a picture of it when it's closed.

I just hit the "This rocks" button.

I love it, it is adorable!  I love the idea of closing it with any button as I tend to stuff my bags and pouches til they are hard to close. Grin

That's absolutely adorable. I love that the polka dots keep it sophisticated and the buttons make it playful Smiley Wisting!

Love it too!  I am having a hard time picturing it closed - is there a flap that wraps over the top or just an elastic band that goes from one side to the other?  Either way would be cute.  A picture would be nice though!

Yes, it is closed by an elastic band.  The band is sewn in place between the main fabric and the lining fabric.  Hope this picture helps - I'm not feeling well so as soon as I got a semi good picture I decided to post it.  Thanks for all of the nice comments!
