Hullo!

I was thinking of using buttons to make a table top for outside all (Scottish) weather use, Can anyone tell me if buttons would be okay to mosaic and what kind of sealant I should use for all weather use?

Cheers!

You can use most anything as tesserae in a mosaic, even buttons.

Once you mosaic to seal for outdoor use, you can use a grout sealer, Polyacrylic, or even resin. Just depends on what result you want from the sealer. Smiley
