Blue button details on a recovered kitchen chair

So, here is my first submission for a Craftster contest!

I had been meaning to recover my kitchen chairs for some time now. Though I loved the retro feel of the chairs, they just did not go with the rest of my decor (also retro, just not with the right colors). So, the button challenge came up, and I was inspired!

Basically, once the chairs were recovered I just glued the blue buttons (with my hot glue gun) to the fabric.  There really was no rhyme or reason to my pattern or color choices. But it was a great way to hide the staples that were holding the fabric in and also added that perfect decorative touch, at least I think so. hehe.
I've only been able to re-cover one chair so far, but have enough buttons and fabric to finish up the rest soon.

The chair looks great, but I mostly wanted to comment on your cute kitty .  It has the same colouring as my kitty!
