Oo! I'm So excited.. we're approaching the end now! And just as I suspected... we've been getting some fabulous last minute entries! Well I don't know about anyone else but I can't wait to see what happens!!  Grin

Oh BTW.. I did post some updated pictures on page two showing the hat pattern done in a solid white color with some flowers added. The different between using the variegated and solid thread is kind of neat.

Anywho thanks SO SO much to everyone whos given so much support.. I really appreciate it! Hopefully we'll all get to see even more entries before this day is over!!  Cheesy

Thanks so much to everyone for their support! It LOOKS as though voting is now closed and.. I may have won?!? I'm genuinely shocked! I really love the other entries and I have, without question, my own favorites. I did NOT expect to win being this was my first competition and .. just wow. I'm amazed..   Shocked

I do have a special request...

If I did win do you think it would be alright to ask for size 10 cotton thread rather than wool? Do you think she'd go for that or now? hehe My obsession for thread crochet is to blame.. Wink

Well for anyone popping in I just wanted to say thank you once again and also to let anyone interested to know I've finally completed writing up the patterns for both the booties and the bonnet! Yeah! If you are interested in helping test these patterns please stop by my deviant art account for further information.
Oh and if you have a deviant art account go ahead and add me and let me know so I can add you back!  Wink

Oh and I'll be posting some pics of the superhooker's wonderful custom dyed thread ASAP. I'm so excited! I can't wait until it gets here but.. it maybe be a little while.. we'll see. *fingers crossed* I know it will be wonderful! Cheesy

Its HERE!! It arrived this morning!! *happy dance*

I'm not sure if I post this here or someplace else but this seemed like the logical place. Just let me know if I need to post this someplace else if I'm mistaken..

I have NO idea what I'll make yet. I'm thinking maybe Irish Crochet.. whatcha' think? Wink

It's 1000 yards of size 10 crochet thread dyed in lovely greens. She used procion dyes which are totally safe for baby's skin. Awww...  Smiley

Thanks SO SO much SuperHooker! The thread is lovely and I'm so glad its finally here so I can make something! W00t! What that will be.. I have no idea. lol Grin

Thanks again to everyone who took the time to vote for me. I loved particpating and seeing the other entries come in one by one. Then winning was a total shock and I was so proud. And now to receive this beautiful prize SuperHooker worked so hard on..  its just amazing. I couldn't be happier..

Thank you a million times.. thank you..  Cheesy

I'm glad you liked it!  The yarn is actually tie dyed...like a shirt!  I've never dyed cotton yarn before, so I thought it would be fun to try it that way...the color combos came out pretty neat!

Step off, I'm doin the hump.
