I'm so sick of snow and freezing rain. I decided to make some tropical barrettes to cheer me up. And of course I had to throw vintage buttons in the mix..because I have issues...

A few are made from embosses paper flowers and others are from silk floral arrangements that I've taken apart and mix and matched.


I think my cat just ate something he wasn't supposed to.....

how cute Smiley I'm sick of the rain here in Toronto, and have recently bought some sunflowers to cheer myself up Smiley I think i'll make those into some sort of pins too (they're fake)

I hot glued them on. I had to find the barrettes with the little hole in the center so the glue could get a better hold. I tried the solid clip buttons and I was able to pull the flowers off to easily.

I think my cat just ate something he wasn't supposed to.....
