I had a single white dinner napkin floating about my linen shelf (from where, I have no idea) just begging for some embellishment. I thought that Sublime Stitching's "Kurt Halsey" pattern would look sweet and inviting for a bread basket liner.

The full design on one side:

The other side:

Details:

Modeled with some Irish soda bread I whipped up for St. Pat's this year.

Thanks for looking!

That's so beautiful -- your satin stitching is fantastic! The way the daisies' petals (I think they're daisies!) are done is really neat.

Your stitching is awesome! Can I ask - do you do padding under your satin stitching or just satin stitching? It's so good!

Thank you, everyone! So glad you like it! Smiley

Thanks vulvatron! It's all just satin stitching, no padding. Though, I have seen folks who do satin stitching over an outline of backstitching for more height, and I've thought of trying that sometime.

Inspiration without application is moot.
