Details of swap:
Are you ready to collect a plethora of fun, handmade, play food for your little one(s)? Here is how it will work. Everyone will be put into a group of four to five other crafters. Each group will need to decide on a “leader” through which most communication will filter. Each person in each group will declare a fruit that they wish to create in bulk. For example: April makes apples, June makes Pears, May makes Peaches, Autumn makes grapes, and Summer makes kumquats. April will then make 5 apples and send one apple to each of her partners and so on… this way everyone ends up with a fancy set of fruit.
Sign ups end April 20th
Partners/Groups will be given by April 23rd
Deadline for Leader choosing and Fruit declaration April 30th
Ship outs May 18th
Your fruit must be:
A) Hand made of course!
B) Machine Washable
C) Non-toxic (these things might get gnawed upon!)
Also, please check with your partners about the fanciability of your fruit. I know I made up a word, but how else to describe it? If the strawberry you want to make is going to go into the hands of a toddler perhaps it shouldn’t have seed beads on it, but if its going to a 8 or 10 year old (or a fun loving adult for that matter) those seed beads may be just the thing to make your crafty strawberry into a true objet d’art!
