So, It's kinda embarrassing how many stitching projects I've done centered around "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" lately, but that's what happens when there's a show with so many wonderful quotable quotes just aching to be immortalized in thread!

The first two projects I made as part of the Ultimate Wedonverse swap a few weeks ago. I designed this based around my swap partner's favorite character, Anya, who's a former demon learning how to be human again. When she realizes she's winning in the board game "Life," she gleeful asks:

And yep, those are supposed to be little "Life" cars, with little people-pegs. Those were fun to design.

This is based off a song lyric from the musical episode "Once More with Feeling."  The heart was a Sublime Stitching pattern, but I wrote in the words myself.

It became a pincushion...complete with little slayer-stake pins. 'cause you know. Vampire heart, stakes...

It's all in glow-in-the-dark thread, which I sadly didn't grab a picture of. It looks really neat in the dark.

And this, actually, was the first one I did, about a year ago. It was a housewarming gift for a couple fellow BtVS fans, based off one of their favorite quotes.

My husband gets credit for designing the fire.

I hope you enjoy!

I've never seen the show (I know, there may be something wrong with me) but I think the first quote is hilarious anyway!  And I immediately recognized the cars from "Life"-- great stitching!

Cool! The stakes in the heart are too funny.

Those life cars are fantastic.  And I must admit, I have asked the same question while playing the game  Cheesy
