I made these using ugly advertising refrigerator magnets, bits of old calendars, a bit of paint and a scrap of pretty paper.  When I was a child my brother used to make this sort of thing with newspaper clippings he thought were cool.  I just make mine girlier.

It's a good way to make use of stuff one might otherwise throw away.  It's also handy if you have lots of art from nieces and nephews you need to attach to your refrigerator.

Thank you.  I'm glad you liked them.

I always have the hardest time throwing out old calendars.  They're so pretty. hehe

Ooh, that's a great idea!  I, also, might have to "borrow" your idea, if you don't mind.  I think I have a bunch of ugly plumber ad magnets and similar things . . .

Ack . . . Happy April Fools, everyone, the shag carpeting is . . . crazy, man Wink

Feel free to make your own for whatever purpose you like.  I'm glad you find the idea useful.

The shag carpet is a little scary, I agree.

I did this with an old medieval art calendar and some of those magnetic business cards. The small images on the back and then there were small square decorated letters on each page. It looks way better than all the tacky advertising magnets.
