Wondering what to do with microfiche cards. I just found out that the library where I work gets them but simply throws them out since we don't use them or have a reader or anything. I think they look cool but I've got crafter's block. Any ideas other than artist trading cards?

Edit: It looks almost exactly like this:

Can you post a picture? Maybe lamp shades? Wrap around votives?

Added a link to a similar microfiche card I found on Google Image Search.

I don't have lamp shades or votive cups, although if I had a dark blue decor theme going on that might work.

I think they'd make a really cool looking chandelier.

Thanks for the pic. Seems we all agree about some type of lighting project. They beg to have some type of ambient lighting behind them. If they are flexible, they would make great wall sconces. Yes, a blue theme would be great. Let us know what you do come up with.

see i think they'd look amazing woven into a purse, like the seatbelt clutch  I"d guess youd have to line it with something strong so it didnt get ruined immedieately, and probably cover it.. or maybe something simple like this clutch   huh.. now i wish i had some .. lol

Will they melt & then harden or shrink?  If so you could make some cool lampshades, or votive/candle holders, or bowls/containers.

You could also use them for funky scrapbook base pages and build little books or something like that with them.

What a fun find!!  Hope you'll post pics of what you make with them.
