Hope I posted this in the right place!
These took me less than 10 minutes and I love them!!
I just came from the recycling center so I ran out of cans, but trust me there will be hundreds more made soon!
Just clean the can and remove the paper, apply your favorite scrap book paper, and add a magnetic strip to the back!

00 what! wow this is a great idea!!! I'm redoing my craft room and needed some ideas like this! thanks for sharing!  How heavy of a magnetic strip are you getting? Like what you'd use for crafts or like a knife holding strip?

Thanks everyone for the comments! I kinda thought they might be lame and only I would love them!

I really didn't notice that there were different weights of magnetic strips. I can't remember exactly what these are , but I do remember that the number was really low ( I want to say 2) I am only keeping very light things in most of them, but it has had no problem holding my pens and pencils.

What a great idea for reusing cans, not to mention all those leftover pages of scrapbook paper I can't find a use for!  I think I am going to add this to my ever growing list of crafts I want to get around to making.

Thanks so much for sharing!!!

Are these cans half-circles or is the picture angle deceptive?

I'm redoing my craft room and just made 5 of these! I'll post pics w/ credit to you when I get a chance! I'm thinking for mine though, I'm probably going to use ribbon and hang them to the wall so I can hold some heavier stuff. Might throw one in the kitchen too, though!
