A friend of mine had one of these cute little jewelry bags that she uses when traveling. Here is my first attempt at replicating it. I've seen some tutorials around the web, but I thought I'd try this on my own first. I have some modifications to make and when I figure out the details I'll create a tute for it.

That looks great! Love the colors! I just saw these at a craft show I did and they were lined with silver polishing cloth to keep your jewelry from tarnishing. I thought that was genius and just wanted to pass it along.

Awesome idea!  I always use a plastic zip-loc bag when I travel.  I need to make one of these, pronto!

That's really nice, you did a great job!  There is a tutorial for those already on Craftster, but the photos are missing.  It's here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=15142.0, and DZ Designs made some and gave us some great tips for circle sewing here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=299200.0.  I made one myself, but I think next time I will sew it so that the stitching doesn't show on the bottom, and I'll put the buttonholes on the outside, like yours.
