Ok friends, here's the deal. I keep seeing all these posting for AWESOME indie craft shows in the states, like Indie Craft and Bizzar Bizarre. I know that there's the small trunk show here and the random city of craft event there. I've applied to be in them all and never get in. We clearly need a bigger venue. I say we plan our own UNBIASED craft show. For those who are making cool, alternative crafts, but haven't inflatrated the Toronto Craft Alert posse just yet.

Would anyone be interested in this? I would love to have a big show, to showcase all of us, be totally inclusive, you know? I think the scene here is huge and I think that we could pull a ton of people in if we did it right.

What do you say? You know you wanna....

Oh I'm in. And my mum would be too. I don't sell anything yet, but I'm working on it.  Yay. My mum sells bead jewellery and kits. I think this would be a super idea. Something unsnoby and just cool and fun.

Oh I love it.

Also interested! We could have it in a park somewhere, that's a big venue!

Sweet! Glad to see that there are like minded people out there.

These things take time, but I would love to get a group of core people together that would be interested in really putting some time in to get organized.

I've recently just begun a little crafty business of my own and am looking to promote myself. I think this sorts thing would be aweeesome. They just had a crafty thing in my area, Barrie, but it's like $400 to get in. And well....that's just ot something I can NOT afford!
