I'm working on some footies. My first sock like thing, and everytime I get to the part about shaping the heel, around row 4 of that section I can see where a hole will form. What am I doing wrong, am I supposed to finish the row before turning? It'll tell you to turn in the middle of a row.  Huh Huh Huh
Here is the pattern.

You turn in the middle of the row, it's doing short rows to shape the bottom of the heel. From the looks of it it will close the gap made by the turn with a decrease. Trust the pattern. Smiley

Yeah I always tell myself to trust the pattern, but when i got to the end of the section and it finally closed the gap there was a HUGE hole for some reason my stitches arent closing it as it goes and they are off.

Hmm, Try slipping the first stitch after the turn? So in the second row instead of knitting 3, slip one (purlwise) and knit 2. Or when you get to the point where you would be knitting a stitch off the heel flap at the end of the row, pick up the yarn between the stitches and knit it with the stitch from the flap (that's basically an M1 and a decrease worked together)? Try wrapped turns?
