Is it o.k. to write in this thread looking for a partner? I already posted in the discussion thread, but I see no links between the threads in the first posts, so maybe everyone doesn't look at both threads? It also took me quite some time to find this swap, even though I looked for it. Maybe a headline like "Invite Your Partner Swap" would be good, especially for swappers that haven't been in the swap before but might like the concept. I might be stupid (or just not have English as a mother tongue) but I guess I just assumed this swap had something to do with socks and I am not that interested in socks.  Smiley

I know this is almost a bit late, but this sounds like great fun! Does anyone here knit? I would love something knitted for my little Mika (14 months old, see my avatar  ). I can make jewelry. You can see some of my nestlaces and fused glass pendants in my STS (link in my signature). There are also needle felting kits that I would be happy to put together for you. Also I sew and I have lots of fabrics to trade if you are looking for supplies, mainly bold IKEA fabrics and other cotton fabrics. Will look through this whole thread now, but please do contact me if you think we could make a good couple.

Still wishing for a Tunisian crochet kit. Would be happy to personal swap for one. I have fabrics and all sorts of stuff to swap for.

Yay - I sent in my questionairre.  Our theme is an oddball one, but I'm super excited: the financial guru who is Dave Ramsey!

If anyone is looking for a partner, or a second partner, I came across this thread just last night and haven't had luck yet finding a partner on my own (tho I do have one person who will partner up with me next round!). If I don't end up with partners for this round, that's okay . . . but if I can snag someone at the last minute, that'd be cool Smiley.

Embroidery is what I enjoy doing, and I can combine it with some very basic sewing, or just do embroidery. I have pics in my profile of some of my favorite stuff I've embroidered, and there are pics of more of my stuff on my flickr.

I'm up for doing a small-scale swap, or something more time-intensive.

If you're interested, don't be shy about PM'ing me!!

I can't wait to get crafting for this!  My partner is donniesgirl and she and I will be swapping things that will get us out of debt with our financial guy Dave Ramsey as our "theme"
I can't wait to see where this goes!
