Thank you all so much! It cost me $1.62 in pennies (each side is 9x9) and God knows how much in foreign coins. I hope I didn't drill into any priceless ancient Roman coins or anything.

i love it, it's cute. i think it's neat that you came up with something so original!

but, like someone else mentioned, i'd be careful because it is a crime. althoug,h to me it doesn't make sense at all, since it's only a piece of fabric/paper that's an I.O.U. don't know what i am talking about? think of dollar bills as green I.O.U's-- they were called "green backs" because they were "backed by the governement"

Roll Eyes surprise surpirse, the government owes you more money.

i saw some guy on ripley's believe it or not who made his LIFE out of pennies he made clothes and covered his van... etc! so if he can get on tv it can't be illegal

yes, but he didn't drill holes in them. somewhere (?) they sell these little connector peices for building with coins. he attatched the coins together like that; at any time, he can simply remove them; thus the pennys aren't defaced.

pessimism: because i'd rather be pleasently surprised than horribly disapointed

Yeah, tell that to the guys that place pennies on railroad tracks and shot them with their bbguns....lol

that's really neat! I was thinking it might be neat in plastic fake coins, which would be easier to make holes in.
