Wow.  so much awesome.  and how great that it's not merely decorative, but also serves as anti-cat scratching mechanism.  very apt -- i love it!

Wow! Grin Love what you did and how you described your inspiration for it. (That cat master/human servant relationship is a tricky thing.) The couch looks fabulous, but Oreo looks angry. Better sleep with one eye open for awhile... Shocked This rocks!

I don't know if I ever would have thought of covering my couch with buttons, but it turned out GREAT. I love it!

You should thank Oreo for clawing up your couch.  Grin

That is pretty sweet. I don't normally like things like this, but this is super jawesome, and now I want to do it to my old crappy falling apart couch.

Wow, that looks fantastic.  And I'm definitely agreeing with people saying they'd do this even if their couch wasn't all clawed up.  I'd love to do this to one of those cheap, plain loveseats from Ikea...

Also, poor kitty  Cry.  I hope she'll get over her loss!  Knowing cats, though, she'll probably just find something else in the house to claw at instead (especially if it's not designed for clawing).

(Crafty people with awesome ninja crafting skills only bring to light my own inadequacies. I'll go back to playing with my yarn now..*sigh*)

That looks really great!  I think the couch would look really good with the back all filled in with buttons as well, but that would take *ages* and I'm amazed that you had the patience to do all that you have done already.  Also, I love how pensive your cat looks in the last photo. Smiley
