My kitteh is famous on teh internetz!  Please don't worry about Oreo, she is very spoiled with both the treats and the luvs and has many fun things to scratch on, as well as the "kitty sauna" (under a table over the heating vent) to lie in. Plus, we took the winter plastic off the windows this weekend, so she can now perform her other favorite activity, keeping watch to make sure no Other Cats are infiltrating Her Porch.

First of all this is gorgeous and I love it! Second of all, Oreo looks i-frickin-dentical to my cat, Blinky - which has me a little bit freaked out!

This is amazing! I now want to start keeping my eye out for thrift store buttons so that I can cover my couch. I'm imagine every time I find a few more buttons I'd add them until the entire back and sides are covered on mine for maximum kitty protection and insanity.

Very awesome project, I'm saying "This rocks!"

Wow! So much work... but it's the best idea ever!

Sadly, I don't think I'll have the patience needed (or enough buttons) to save my sofa from the evil kitty!

The whole thing looks absolutely gorgeous! I have the same problem with my sofa, but I'd be worried that my cat might just choose another spot on the fabric or continue with her favorite scratching spot and pull off the buttons in the process (which might lead to her eating the buttons and choking on them). Have you had any problems?
