So, I am a HUGE Trekkie, but alas, only of the Original Series. To me, James T. Kirk will always be my Star Ship Captain.  Roll Eyes I am insanely excited for the upcoming movie, and I decided that since I will be going to the midnight premier, I needed something that showed my complete love for Trek. And thus, I came up with my uniform. I make everything (except the shoes and nylons, of course), including the patch.

Now all I need to do is get both a Phaser and Communicator, and...practice... my...Captain....Kirk...voice...

Enjoy! And Live Long and Prosper!  Cheesy

A TRIBBLE!  Roll Eyes

Awesome! I made the mistake of showing hubby this thread and now he wants me to make him a Captain Kirk uniform. I'm not a seamstress though, so he's on his on for that one Smiley

Very cool! I am excited for the movie too. I am not a huge Trekkie or anything but I loved to watch reruns of the original series when I was a kid. I never got into the newer stuff either.

That looks great.

Just a ocuple of questions: Did you use a pattern?  How did you make the insignia?

So are you going to wear it to the movie?
