I usually mount my trees on rocks, but I thought it might be cool to try mounting them on a mirror. They turned out kinda modern and fantasy-like. Here's the 2 I've made:

(1)This one was bought by the owner of my local bead store to be displayed in the store (and now I'll be teaching a class on it too!)

Here's how the roots look on the mirror:

(2)This one was made for the current Tree Swap for digital misfit:

What do you think? Comments and criticism is always welcome. I'm always looking for ways to improve!

wow!  These are really beautiful.  I love how the beads reflect on the mirror.   Good choices on color.

Oh my gosh I love it!  I am obsessed with baobab/tree of life and that reminds me of one so much.  I'm currently half-hearted working on a French beaded little Christmas tree, but nothing like this!  Great work!

I love the mirror idea.  I made a tree once at a retreat in the mountains, but we mounted them on rocks as well...  But really, the mirror idea is pretty brilliant!  Were the roots harder to glue?

This is really great.  I love the trees mounted to rocks, but the mirror is a really neat effect.  Incredible idea!

I love the reflection of the roots in the mirror- it adds a lot of depth.
