I received from Zombiekilla Cheesy Smiley

It's been crazy here, like I said.  I have basically been able to turn on my computer and skim over my email while I run back and forth (craftster is open in my browser - I have multiple browser windows open at once automatically and craftster comprises 6 of them, lol) but I don't really get the chance to read anything or check the forum.

I have just gotten my daughter down (the youngest, she's 5, is the one who is coughing like a TB patient) and gave my son some medicine, too.  It should be calm enough to post some pics of the goodies I got from Zombiekilla in an hour or two, after I've thrown in the laundry and finished the dishes.

I received from zombiekilla today and I'm finally able to post pics Cheesy

She sent me a ton of vintage photographs (excuse the towel, the bathroom was the only area in the house with decent lighting at 11pm):

My favorites are the nurse, the colorized one, and the one with the older couple holding what looks like things that they may have made.  Thanks, zombiekilla, and happy birthday to you, too!  Smiley

Cute collars! I love the color! I would have never thought to make my own collars. (Tho my cat will never keep one on anyway.)

I love the vintage photos! I agree, I think the nurse is my favorite!

So ... I'm making a beret for puffy.  I made one and it is probably the most hilarious thing I have ever seen!  So - I will be starting over!  Craft and learn, craft and learn ...   Wink  When all is said and done and I have produced one that is actually wearable I might humor you all with my first results - I have the whole family cracking up over it!

Rest assured, puffy, you will receive one that will not embarrass you (even if I have to make a few more to get it right -  Grin )

um... oh dear. Just kidding! I'm not worried. Cheesy I know I've made quite a few "what was I thinking?!?!" kinds of things in my crafting career.  Roll Eyes

Oh, I love the doggie goods, and the photos are stunning!

Good news, Puffy - I crocheted a beret that you will not be embarassed to wear (at least I hope not!)  If at first you don't succeed, try, try again!  I'm hoping your head is not much bigger than an orange though ... (of course, I'm kidding -  Tongue )

I completed my gifts for Puffy and Scotskipper and I should be mailing them out today - if I can manage to break myself away from some tea towels I am embroidering and actually take a shower ... don't you hate when you have to put down your projects?!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Got this piece of shrinky dink ... had it for 25 years now.  It's moved to five states and one European country ... and I just know, someday ... SOMEDAY ... I WILL use it!

Missapril's gift is in the mail! Smiley Working on ellenmarie's. Shouldn't be too long, my really big swap just went out, so now I can concentrate on everything else that I need to get done.
