The shoe is made of tape.  The possibilities are limited only by your imagination.  It is pretty substantial, yet light weight.  You can use about any kind of shoe or boot as a "form".   Thanks for the comments!  I needed the positive imput - been going through a bit of a rough patch and my crafting has been keeping me sane.
