mine!!

thank you for this GENIUS tutorial!!

to make it easier to sew flat on a machine I did the seams slightly out of order. if it would help anyone else here's what I did:
1. sewed together both pieces at front of pants and laid them flat
2. made waistband and sewed it across top
3. sewed together back of pants
4. sewed together legs from one ankle to the other

It's amazing, we can need not to buy, and now this season we can do a pair by ourselves.

Awesome.  What sort of ease (hips, thighs, waist) should we shoot for with these?

Just make sure the shirt is big enough to fit around your thighs plus some extra, pretty much.

Thanks so much for the tutorial. Earlier this week, I was looking through my workout pants and realized I needed more, so I was going to check the thrift stores. Then when I was looking for something completely different, I stumbled upon your tutorial. I raided my discarded t-shirt pile and I've now made two pairs of these pants and I've got my third all pinned together. And yay, I finally solved my sewing machine issues, so I'm able to whip these up in no time. Thanks again.
