Oh my gosh. That is a super cute set.

This board is so quiet this time around. I hope there are more people crafting than there are chatting. It's such a great project to get creative with.

I've noticed how quiet we are too.

I'm hoping that it's that on the last unswap we had to do a lot of talking to figure out what was appropriate to send.  This one, it's much more "do your best work" and people generally don't need to hash out issues with their best work.

Of course, last time we also had a news item and we don't this time, so there may be fewer people reading in general.  I hope not, and I've tried to point people over here where appropriate (Hi, Savage_Pixie!), but it doesn't have that same visibility.

Fingers are crossed that we get a productive unswap again!

I have some shawls and things I made while caring for my Dad would you be interested in them.  If so I will put them in the mail Friday.  Good luck with auction.

We are definitely interested in whatever people would like to send - think of this auction like a craft fair where you can find lots of handmade items that you wouldn't be able to find in stores.

I finished my little quilt tonight and I couldn't be happier with it!

I'll post pictures tomorrow after I've run it through the washing machine to get rid of any residual cat hair, shrink up the batting and test for sturdiness.  I can't wait to show it off!

I finally got through my mother's day project and officially started my unswap items today! I'm going to do an apron and kitchen towel set using these vintage transfers:

I'll upload pictures of my progress soon. I just finished the first towel using Straw Berry. So cute!

Finally, pictures of my quilt!

Just for reference, each little hexagon is 1.5" from point to point, and the whole thing is about 34" from point to point.  Should be just big enough to lay over a baby or lay a new baby down on, and then the right size for a blankie later on (I hope!).

I hope somebody loves it and buys it. (I have no idea of how to put a value on it for tax purposes!  EEEK!)  It's going to be mighty hard to let it go, even though I have absolutely no use for a purple quilt.

I'm sorry that I've stumbled upon this so late in the game. I would have loved to have joined in but have several projects with time limits so it's too late for me to start now. Am I correct in assuming that there is going to be a third round with a different charity?

I would hope so, but it depends a lot on how this one goes.  We'll see how much response there actually is and decide in a bit.  My best guess would be fall, though, because summer is so full of vacations and the like.
