Hmmm....changing the focus.  I hope all the current boards stay in place.  That's what I come here for and spend hours sometimes going through.  I'm not a huge macrame fan.

Oh and I don't like the new avatars one little bit.  I like being able to personalize my avatar to what fits me.  I've got some funky cheerleader.  Definately not me.  Please go back to allowing personalized avatars.

Geez, posted this and now my avatar is kooky flamingos.  Not enjoying this part of the change.

I hope nobody takes this the wrong way, but am I the only one to wonder what kinds of crafts we're doing right now that are so hip and cool, but 30 years from now we'll all be joking about?  I mean this in a totally innocent way, not trying to get too serious here or anything.  I'm just looking around and thinking hmmmmm what should I make sure I don't get rid of so when people are laughing down memory lane in 2039 I can pull it out and say Look!  I have an ORIGINAL!! Grin

Felt soap perhaps?
"So... you shaved off hair from farm animals and wrapped it around soap for an excuse to rub it all over your body?!"

"That's my lab table and this is my work-stool. And over there is my intergalactic spaceship! And here's where I keep assorted lengths of wire."

...oh, if it wasn't clear, I'm rarely completely serious. Smiley

I'd thought it might all be a giant April Fool's joke, but was hoping it wasn't!  Looks like my dreams are coming true!

I found the *best* macrame project last night and am getting started ASAP.

Thanks, MacrameNet!

What is wrong with Macrame?  Grin My poor macrame book I bought thrifting recently has it's feelings hurt?  Cheesy  Wink

I am coveting the frog macrame plant holders.  You lucky girls who got that avatar.  I got a cool owl.  Lucky me.  Next I will probably get the freaky clown or the crazed girl avatar.

Yes, the background does remind me of Guns n' Roses Spaghetti Incident CD.  Now, there is an acid trip.

Luckily Craftster decided not to go with the 80's Country Craft look & lots of geese!  I would run away fast.  Smiley

Thanks for the joke.  Can you please make the reality go away that Guiding Light was canceled & that is not a joke.  Smiley My day will be perfect.  I won't have anything to watch when I macrame.

Ewww! I was dreading having to look at this all day while surfing today when I came on. The background looks like raw ground beef.

Thanks, people in charge, you made me groan in tacky delight today Smiley

I'm glad someone else saw the raw ground beef resemblance.   Cheesy

Aw, I'm sorry you don't like the rotating avatars.  We're considering personalization for FOC in the future.

Is this Macrame thing for real? I thought it was an April fools joke. The great thing about Craftster is it's broad appeal for every genre of craft, why would you focus it on just Macrame? It's a joke right?
