Yeah, I'm lovin' the screen names, and the avatars.  The carpet is hard on the eyes, but I love the whole concept.

Ha ha ha, I love it.  I panicked so hard when I so the first post and then Mr Loops pointed out the date Grin   Spookily, just last night i was reading a crafting magazine and made a mental note to try making the macrame belt that was in there Wink

I didn't even realise what the date was today, and yet the funny thing is I'd already been april fooled earlier today! One of my co-workers sent an email round to all the programmers pretending to be the boss (he'd obv formulated a plan with the network guy to get an email address virtually identical to his), berating everyone for not doing enough work and that kind of thing and trying to scare the bejesus out of us all, rofl, I realised it was a joke but still didn't click!!

FUNNY!!!!!!  I missed last year, so it took me a few minutes, but it evenutally clicked.  You guys really go to great lengths!!!

Seriously, though, my mom made the COOLEST multi-tier white macrame plant holder years ago and I just LOVED IT!  It was the prettiest thing I have ever seen!  Gosh, I'm going to ask her what she ever did with it now....  Cheesy

Haha, I love the macramé theme. I've definitely always thought it was totally overrated.

I have this key chain I keep my keys on that I found at a thrift store that is macramé. It appears to be a green owl with brown bead eyes. But no one ever seems sure because it's not in the "traditional" owl macramé shape like in the "We give a hoot" picture. And if it is indeed an owl, why green? I might post a picture later. Cheesy

I just have to say this is the best birthday present I've ever gotten. The shag reminds me of the green stuff we had for carpeting growing up. I think it's still in the house as my parents still own it. lol
Now I need to learn how to make macrame animal accessories. Just think of the stylish dog collars, the  leashes, the cute ferret hammocks!
I also was not aware macrame was so risque and sexy! some of those tops are pretty well open. I'll have to some up with a more modest option for those of us who are shy...

I must admit, I was NOT in support of the change but finally the mods showed me the macrame bikini and I've been excited ever since! I actually am in the process of creating a new macrame burlesque costume. I have pasties, gstring, bikini and a cool headpiece in the works. I cannot wait to post.

This IS the best site EVER!!!
