I am so thrilled.  Because of the immense amount of time i spend looking at craftster (now macramenet) I am so pleased that the layout matches my decor!  I am now encouraged to branch out from hemp bracelets to other knotty endeavors.  Thank you so much, MacrameNet!

I'm so glad you finally decided to take the site into a bold new direction of the 1970's, and all those macrame'd cards I made got through to you. I don't know why it ever went out of style...maybe there was a shortage of twine?

I personally think this was a great idea for a change. This is definitely a wonderful art form that I think is so often overlooked and underappreciated. It's great to see macrame getting the attention it deserves!

I think I read somewhere that macrame artisans purposefully changed the public's view of what is "stylish" in order to ensure that the craft come back in style in 30 years.

This is greatly hilarious!!  I especially love the "We're Knotty" picture. 

It did not even occur to me that people outside the US wouldn't know about April Fool's Day.
