I'm thinking that when I get a wheel, I'll get a Traveller too. I was just looking at them. http://halcyonyarn.com/products.php?type=equipment&item=68170030&rel=google_base&?utm_source=gb_products&utm_medium=gb_listing&utm_campaign=gb_products

Perty!

Nesse, it is quite fun!

I think I forgot to add congratulations on getting the wheel, oddacity.  Grin I've been a little exhausted the last few days.

I'm trying to wrap up my STS commitments in the next week. It's been a little stressful today, because I got myself all confused with it. I love STS but it'll be nice to take a break for a bit.

freestyle and I have been going over the questionnaire and she's working on a spreadsheet. She's going to co-organize regardless of how many people we have, since this is my first time organizing a swap. Smiley So a big round of applause for freestyle for being so awesome! *clap, clap, clap*  Grin Grin We'll be sending out a reminder PM for this swap to everyone on our list on May 8th. Hopefully, we'll have sign ups open by 12AM central time on the 15th.

yay! something to look forward to fiber wise!
On a sad note, I misplaced about 4oz of fiber.  seriously it's disappeared.  It's not in any of the 3 places I keep my crafting supplies.  I even cleaned one out completely in an attempt to find it!!!  It organized my closet, but still no fiber!  :*( :*(

Oh noooo! *sends happy thoughts to bring your fiber back to you*

I got my stain today! It's bluuuuue (almost Carolina blue, how fitting for me, haha)! My dad's going to stain all the parts as well as my niddy-noddy tomorrow! Getting ever closer...Cheesy

I love the blue color idea. I was thinking earlier how it would be sweet to have a teal colored wheel. Then you get on here and say you're staining yours blue. Weird. lol That's exciting!

I went to a cake shop here in town today with my family. The husband and my stepdaughter wanted cupcakes. They had a huge selection of cake decorating supplies. It's a weird shop to be in our town, which is really small on the outskirts of a bigger city. They had some cool food coloring though. It's called AmeriColor and I'm going to test it out some time this week. I got electric yellow and electric blue. I'll let you guys know how it goes. They were 1.99 a bottle and seemed to be considerably more to it than the Wilton's or grocery store kinds. I could be wrong about that though. Hopefully they'll be better quality.

Has anyone else used these?

Blue spinning wheeeel!?!?! oh that is going to be so much fun to spin on Cheesy
Bella, I'm sending you good fiber-finding thoughts lol

I haven't used that brand, but Wiltons is cheaper around here (1.50 for 1oz)

Guyyyys, my fiber stash is getting out of control Grin Today I got like 10lbs of raw alpaca from a local farm, for a ridiculously cheap price. and I've still got a cormo fleece to clean. I need this swap to start already so I can get rid of some!

You know, I've honestly tried, and I still don't think I actually understand STS [grin] Maybe I should go and have another look sometime.

Dude, though, I am getting seriously impatient waiting for this one to start. I plan to try and finish off my OWS yarn today, and then I will have *shock horror* no spinning to be doing! There's some fiber, though, so I may make a scarp yarn just while I wait...hmm...
