So I was just scanning the list of swaps available to sign up for and had another idea for a swap...what about an applique swap?

Appliques would be handmade for the most part, if adding store-bought patches, they would be just small like extra hearts or stars or another small aspect of the design.

Applique work can be done on ANY item...totebag, purse, lap quilt, skirt, apron, shirt, pants, jeans, needlebook....basically, anything you can press and sew something onto!  Or, it can even be a wall hanging!  I did one for a swap recently, my FIRST applique ever and have become obessed with downloading images to use to print and trace onto Wunder Under to make into appliques!

On requirements, mayeb a large and 2 smalls?  Or some combo of points equaling 4 or 5?  Maybe less?  I dunno...didn't get that far in my thinking Tongue

I also don't know if something like this has been done before...so, I'm not claiming this is my original idea until I research that Smiley

Yes, no, maybe so???

Maybe I am the only one psyched about applique?  Or, those interested don't check here?  So much activity in this part of Craftster I got shuffled way down the list already in a day!  Undecided
