Wow, this is truly fabulous!!!   I would love to see an action shot.  I can't imagine how much work went into that...but I can certainly imagine how much fun it must be to wear it!   Wink

oh man, this rocks so hard! I'm using feathers for my jewellery and embellishment and they're such a pain to trim - I can't imagine using 300 of them!

Ahh! I love love love this! The boy-birds always get to look so much prettier than the lady birds. Smiley

Any plans for future bird costumes? Maybe crane (ooh, could be really pretty and Japanese-esque)?

Okay so once again I am completely redoing my pictures. Got tired of photobucket, the only reason I used it was for here so I decided I will just use Craftster's photo uploader. So while I am switching over my photo links will be broken. Message me if there is a post you would like the pics for.

Holy crap! I am a burlesque performer as well, and that has to be one of the most- okay, THE MOST- spectacular costume I've ever seen! The colors and textures of the sequins mimic the feathers so well. It's perfect! Action shots for sure!!

How difficult was it to sew on the feathers? What kind of thread did you use or did you just use glue?
My daughter wants to be a peacock for Halloween and I want to go all out!

still waiting for those action shots Wink
