Burlesque Peacock Costume

I've been working on this costume for about a month. Finally, 300 feathers later it is finished!!

Wow, this is truly fabulous!!!   I would love to see an action shot.  I can't imagine how much work went into that...but I can certainly imagine how much fun it must be to wear it!

oh man, this rocks so hard! I'm using feathers for my jewellery and embellishment and they're such a pain to trim - I can't imagine using 300 of them!

No, it doesn't tickle.  the feathers don't actually touch my skin.

 Holy crap! I am a burlesque performer as well, and that has to be one of the most- okay, THE MOST- spectacular costume I've ever seen! The colors and textures of the sequins mimic the feathers so well. It's perfect! Action shots for sure!!

How difficult was it to sew on the feathers? What kind of thread did you use or did you just use glue?
My daughter wants to be a peacock for Halloween and I want to go all out!

i haven't taken them yet!! i've been so busy!!

i handsewed and glued. you can just glue and that would work as well.
