Perfect for spring, its so comfy! I used Simplicity 2889, and it was a breeze to use. I altered the pattern to make it shorter and add a ruffled bubble hem to the bottom. I also added a removable bow in the same color fabric to the center. I used a cotton fabric from walmart and put in a back zipper. I love wearing it belted, gives it more of a vintage feel.
Any comments and suggestions are welcome! Thanks!

I love it!  The only thing I would change is the length of the sleeves...in the first picture, they make your shoulders look a bit bigger.  A narrower sleeve would be more flattering I think.  Otherwise, its extremely flattering!  I'm also superbly jealous of  your gladiator sandals in the second picture!  They are FIERCE! Wink

I totally agree with you. The size of the sleeves were not proportionate to the size of the rest of the dress on the pattern. On my next dress I'll take the sleeves down like 3 sizes.
