I've been meaning to post this here for a while! I did a letterpress workshop at the local art college and this is what I created. I'm fairly proud of it, not so much because it is letterpressed, but because I made the entire book, something I had never done before. I cut all of the paper (the cover and inside), glued the little pocket in the back cover (which you can't see on this photo), and I sewed all of them. In total I made around 50!

I drew the image of the kiwi and then printed it using a photopolymer plate. Underneath the kiwi is the scientific name for kiwi, because I'm a big science nerd Smiley

Those are completely lovely!  I really like Kiwi's, they are such cute birds (the New Zelanders and their accents are too!)  The books look very professional and I love the contrast between the ink and the paper.  Great job!

I'm a medium aged procrastinator, with a room full of craft supplies!
