Ok..well..I had this dress in my head for two years or something.

That was a drawing I did.
Um..so I got some drill on sale (5 m of it at something like..$2.50 a metre?) sweetness! I procrastinated about making it cause I wasn't sure I could, but when it got down to it the construction was really basic.
Ok..well..I don't have any super good proper photos of it. So I'll just show you a bunch so you get a general impression of the dress.

Yes I realise the shoes don't suit..I can't actually wear a lot of shoes without my feet being chewed up like a rawhide bone being fed to a dog. Even these ones hurt.
The stats: um..it has a pintucked yoke with piping and a lace collar piece, and it's a panel dress with a back zipper, princess seams and a full skirt of around 3 metres. I'm wearing 4 petticoats. It's got a pleated trim, ridiculously huge puff sleeves..and.erm..I didn't iron it.

I made up the pattern myself if you couldn't tell Tongue and it's longer than I originally intended cause I used the whole width of the bolt of fabric..which was about 1 metre.
More photos..yay!

If you're wondering about the weird pictures of me with all the assorted detritus/mini piano etc..well..it's because my friend and I decided that we were going to take strange looking objects from my house and I would pose with them and photos would be taken. Then I decided to play the tiny piano..then I decided to busk cause we wanted money for an icecream..um..well..OK..the piano is half-broken and I haven't played for four years so my playing was hilariously terrible..but I think the weird weird combo of my green hair, archaic dress and tiny piano drew the crowds and motivated them to give us $13.95..not bad for a little more than half an hour!

I do have a video which will give you a general impression of the terrible music I was playing, and the whole "atmosphere"

I hope you enjoy this Tongue

Very pretty dress and I like the photos. Smiley
It's nice when people try to make their neighbours everyday a bit bizarr.
