If youre planning on customizing them for what each person wants (which I believe is your plan) youre gonna have to wait til sign ups close, everyone sends gator their preferred list, and gator assigns partners. Its done this way incase 6 (or more) people pick you. Gator decides who gets what.

Im still debating about joining in. I really enjoy SSSs but I already feel overloaded with swaps.

The other option is make five sets and then post pictures and once partners are assigned ask each partner what their top 3 choices are and match from there...

hello everyone,
I just pm'd the lovely organizer gatorwrangler. I am joining as promised in the discussion thread.  pic added soon. towels are done just finishing lace on one. i will do some bookmarks and magnets tonight and tomorrow and post pic. they are cute the magnets vary eg live your dreams, birdies and varied sayings. there will be a few choices.

set 1  Machine Embroidered Teatowel, you will pick from the 5 i have done. #1 owl, #2 dragonfly & butterfly, #sleepy kitty, #teapot, #sewing design. lace trim is added to bottom of towel.

set 2  choose either of these machine embroidered set of 2
                            #2a bookmark and fridge magnet 

                            or set #2b  set of 2 fridgemagnets
pic of the bookmarks plus i will make a red one soon. made on my embroidery machine, there are threads layered  on to linen fabric trapped under the organza, it is then embroidered with hearts and the saying is Threads of Friendship. Satin stitched edge,they are very pretty. These ones are backed with sparkly organza.


i didnt get time to do the magnets yet, similar to the bookmarks but they are small rectangles or circles with cute sayings and/or birdies and flowers. will try to do them this week to give the choice but i am off to work now so cant do them just this minute.

i really want to make the cards fit the person who requested them though...its all good, i spent this whole night organizing my swap folder...that was fun (not sarcastically)

I wanted to cut out and sewup some wallets for this swap, so I know the feeling of wanting to get started, MissDisney   I ended up just starting on stuff for the fill a purse swap instead...so my idle hands found something to do just like you!  I have a laundry list of to-do projects...so I am part of the 50 projects in 2009 craftalong to force me to FINALLY finish the things I have been putting off for so long.

A - dark/light blue
B - red/grey
C - dark/light green
D - yellow/yellow-orange
E - dark/variegated blue

Triangles -


1- dark/really light green
2- dark/light blue
3 - chocolate/red
4 - grey/plum
5 - dark rust/yellow-orange

Pick one of each, and if anyone's curious --
A & 2 are the same colors
D & 5 use the same yellow-orange yarn (used on the fishy's tail)
