The love and patience that it took to make this dress sure paid off. It is just such dress and if it was bought in a children boutique would have cost a small fortune.

LOVE this dress!!!! i have been making yo-yos for over a year now.  Now I know what to do with them!  I have been adding them to purses, table runners, anything I could think of.  I have embellished dressses & shirts with them, but never thought of this.  This is so cute!!

That is beautiful!  I would've never thought of something like that.  You're definitely an awesome aunt to put in all that time.

What a fabulous dress, and what a gorgeous model!  I love the idea of using the yo-yos for the dress.  It sounds like it would make a good Mommy-Daughter project.  Grin

Your talents never cease to amaze me, girlie, what a fabulous dress!

I recently learned to make yo-yo's for an Oz project, and although the little contraptions simplify the process, the more I made the more my patience began to wane. I didn't have to make near as many as you, so I admire your stick-with-it-ness and and fortitude for creating such a lovely piece of wearable art. Wow!
