I know lots of people have commented. But, this dress deserves it. So adorable. I love yoyos. I might manage a three yo deep hem. But I'd never manage the whole dress. Great job.

I love this sooooo much!!!
I want to try to make this for my little girl when she gets here (I'm expecting). Smiley  Questions:  Did you attach the yoyos by hand?  How would you wash this???

Thanks!

I attached the yo-yos by hand.  Each one is held at each point of contact by four knotted stitches, and the stitches on each end are double knotted, so I'm hoping it's sturdy.

Everything is prewashed and shouldn't shrink, so I told my sister to put it in a lingerie bag to make sure nothing snags and just wash it with the rest of my niece's clothes.

Hopefully I won't be resewing it all again when it goes through the wash for the first time.  Wink

If you make one, make sure you post it!
