this is my first post in this category. i've been lurking for a while, and finally have some projects to share.

so, way back when i was a junior in high school (circa 1999), my school decided to form a quilting and embroidery club. we were 4 members strong. anyway, we learned to cross stitch. now i have this bad(?) habit of learning a craft and then going totally gung ho over it- meaning i become a total devotee and then it gets neglected, at least for a while. during my gung ho cross stitch phase, i got a version of pcstitch, which i still totally love, and got this brilliant idea to graph and cross stitch the Grease logo. so i started on it. and then it got shoved to the side and ended up sitting in a ziploc bag next to my bed. until last week. i was tired of looking at the bag, so i buckled down and finally finished it! it still needs a frame or something, and i'm a little annoyed at myself because i used this really old metal hoop and it ended up rusting all over the edges of my cloth. and here it is!

the second one has only been in the works for about 2 years. i was inspired by the book subversive cross stitch. i made it for my friend who is of british descent and is known to utter this every now and again. also needs a frame or something.

c & c welcome! sorry the pictures aren't the best.  Undecided
