Here are some earrings I made out of these charms that I just love from Archie McPhee. I didn't do anything special, just put them on earring hooks but I just love the charms so much I wan't to show them off!

the western ones

the junk food ones

the chinese takeout ones (this set of charms also came with chopstick charms, but i didn't want to make them into earrings because they were very plain.)

Those are all so cute, especially the pizza! I have some of those charms laying around. Do I just go to the craft store and get some french hooks? How did you get the charms on them - Do you just twist the little hookie thingie at the end and then reclose it? hehe...Can you tell I've never made earrings before?  Cheesy Thank you!

they were very easy! at Michaels you can by plain earring hooks. Then I took off the little ball and other thing you can see on the hook. Then using needle nose pliers I opened up the hook's loop, slipped on the charm and closed it again. i hope this helps and can get you started on making earrings! I just started in the fall and I'm earring making crazy now! If you need more detailed instructions, just ask!

Ooh, thank you! That sounds so easy - and there's a Michaels right by my work.  Cheesy I probably won't get around to making them until next week, but at least I know how now!
