lol the reason for their title is because the main stitch used for this pattern is the waffle stitch. the pattern is free here: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/waffle-stitch-fingerless-gloves   

but you have to be a ravelry member, though

so here they are! i used velvet viscose in raspberry from thewoodpeddler but this yarn is discontinued.

That pattern is great, i made ones in brown, they look soooo pretty! I love the yarn you used... Viscose is great to knit! (at least the yarn I got...)

I've made those same gloves for a friend in a light grey color.  Love the pattern, and I really like how they look in the pink yarn.
