This is a quilt that I made in tribute to one of my favorite tv shows from when I was a kid.  I took some of the images from online and the others I captured screenshots from the dvds and converted them to drawings in a photo program.  Then I traced the images onto fabric using fabric markers and a lightbox.  At first, I thought I would embroider the squares, but I decided I didn't have the patience.  I searched until I found some cotton fabric with the black and red pattern for the borders because I knew I wanted it to look like Little Pete's hat.  The backing is just plain black fleece.  It is machine quilted.  I don't know exactly how big it is, but I think it would fit on a full size bed.  I made it for my boyfriend's birthday (Pete & Pete also happens to be one of his favorite shows).

Anyway, wicked quilt!  I love it!  You did good and it's so creative!

WOW! This brings me back! You did a great job with the quilt, and you picked some of the BEST things to put on it (I love the "I am a dot." and Petunia squares!). This rocks!

If you are working on (or thinking about starting) a postage stamp quilt with 1.5" squares, I have scraps and squares to give away.  PM me if you're interested.

PETE AND PEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETE!!

I am overwhelmed by this!  You captured all of the best aspects of the show.  I love that you even have a Polaris square (Do you listen to Mark Mulcahy's solo stuff or any of his other bands?  He's actually really good, and it's not all 90's grunge  Cheesy)

I rarely think to hit This Rocks, but I will for this!

Great looking quilt.  I'm sure it will mean something to both of you.  Nice job.
