I made this for saltandpepper in OTT 21.  Her theme was Sesame Street and she said her favorite was Bert.  Well, inspiration hit and this is the outcome.

The outside:


The front:


The back:


The inside with change purse (inside Cookie Monster's belly), keychain and credit card/ID pockets.


Keychain off, the back side says "C is for Cookie"


Cookie with his "mouth open"


This was a great project, I made it up as I went along. The characters are pieced from my sadly huge stash of quilt fabric, fused and stitched then outlined with permanent pen.  Cookie Monster was actually an after thought but I really like how he turned out.

I nearly bust waiting for it to make it to its final home!

Wow your appliques look fantastic.  They look just like the real thing.

I must say though the best part is that Cookie Monster eats your change.

OH EM FRAKIN GEE!  I absolutely LOVE AND ADORE THIS!!  That, that, THAT!!!! OMG!  I love that! Really.  I mean, who DOESN'T love Sesame Street but that's just AWESOME!  I love the cookie key holder.
