I usually don't post projects because most of what I've been making lately is for swaps, and are therefore posted there, but then I realized that not everyone reads the swap boards, so I'm posting some of my favorite items I've sent over the last year.

These are some glass ornaments I made for 2711 for the 12 Days of Christmas Swap. They are based off something from her wist. I am very happy with how they turned out.

(excuse the blurry picture, better ones are below)

Basically, I took plain, clear glass ornaments and painted the various "characters" on to them. Then, once they were dry, I put tiny white pompoms and iridescent glitter in each ornament. The pompoms weren't the best idea - next time I need to find Styrofoam balls, because the pompoms all stuck together.

But it still gave the right "effect" so I let it go.

Then I glued little rhinestones on the ornaments for snowflakes and, for Rudolph, the nose.

I made two Santas,

two snowmen,

and two Rudolphs

And here they are all ready to go!

I wrapped them in a TON of bubblewrap and they made it to the UK unbroken! BONUS! Cheesy

thanks, and yes, yes you do Smiley i did it mainly 'cause i treat most of my things as canvases anyway, and also chucks have become ubiquitous recently so my inner craftster had to somehow make them different Tongue
