Hey guys!

I knit Talia from Knitty.  Smiley  I used size 9 needles with Frog Tree Merino Worsted.  Man, is this stuff soft!  I can't stop touching myself...  :O  Dirty!

Anyway, I knit somewhere between a S and a M - About 4 stitches less than a M.  It was a fun, easy, fast knit.

The only thing I would've changed about this would've been to either knit another inch or two more before starting the front decreases, or just make the armholes an inch or so smaller (don't know that much smaller than that would be good!).  Seems a bit too low to me, and who knows, I have been wearing it the entire day - it could've stretched out on me a bit (which wouldn't show in these pics from this morning Wink)

With a jacket on:

Ooh, so pretty!  There are so many outstanding details to this and I love the color you chose.  This is my first time seeing this pattern too.

First of all, thank you for the compliments.  Smiley

Was it easy to do?

Yes, it was easy! Smiley  To knit this, you need to know how to: yo, k2tog/ssk, m1, pick up stitches.

Pretty! I overlooked that pattern before, but after seeing your version, I just might look that one up again. Grin

I'm guessing a lot of people overlooked it - seeing as the sample garment is knit in black.  Black can be lovely, and is a versatile wonder, but I don't think it does the beauty of this vest justice.

That is absolutely beautiful! It makes me want to knit one, but I doubt I'll have the patience.
