When I was little my great grandmother knit me a couple of dolls. I didn't know her well but I adored the dolls. So now I'm pregnant with my first baby (due sept.10) and I wanted to make my baby something special. I'm still a beginner and sometimes get confused with patterns, so I made this doll up as I went. I'm really impressed with it (and myself for finishing it)  I don't know what I'm having and the nursery is painted green so I tried to keep the doll gender neutral for now. I plan on adding hair after my baby is born. so if it's a girl, the doll will get long hair, and if it's a boy it will get short hair. Also, I went to Build-a-Bear workshop and got one of their recorder thingys and put my baby's heartbeat on it and put it inside of the doll. I think I did really well for making it up as I went.
Thank you for looking. C & C welcome.
