"Nothing binds a father and a son more closely than the truth behind the decapitated hooker in the rec room."

Another AdultSwim inspired set of amigurumis. It's a cartoon about a family of hillbilly squid, the Cuyler family, that live in Georgia.

Earlie and Rusty Cuyler

Earlie Cuyler aka Mr. Awesomeville from Dawsomville

Russel Jesse James Cuyler aka Rusty

Earlie without his trucker hat

Rusty's sweet  sweet mullet

They're about 3.5 inches tall. I used Red Heart and a sized F hook and black acrylic paint (for the pupils and Rusty's acne).

I just have to say that I'm not a fan of the Squidbillies at all....BUT I saw this and just had to take a closer look. You did a Fantastic job on recreating them in crochet style! Excellent work!!

This rocks!
I used to love Squidbillies, but haven't watched it in quite a while.  Now all you need is Krystal and her SIP!  Sadly, I once had a neighbor of the same name who looked a lot like her.  Embarrassed

Amazing! I was actually thinking about adapting an octopus pattern to make squidbillies but they probably wouldn't turn out this awesome. I love this show. This really needs to be completed with all the characters. If you do Krystal make sure you get her front butt just right.

"She was my dream, my muse. A vision suitable for the wide-screen format. I can still taste her fist against my face. The sweet sugary sweat from a lifetime of diabetes."
