my MIL gave me this big old cover up type dress a while back and although I loved the colors I really wasn't sure what to do with it.
then a friend of mine asked if I could make a doll out of tyedye material for her ....and then this dress had a purpose......since there was so much material left after I made the doll I decided to make the new owner of the doll an outfit to match

 this is what I ended up with........





this is what I had started with
...its actually only the top half.. sorta forgot to take a before picture till after I had already made the doll

I was pretty happy with the way it all turned out...........from big, ugly and unwearable...to.... .cute and loved
