I bought a sewing machine a few days ago and I am addicted. I made this bag for my holidays-to carry all of my essentials to the beach and stuff. I'm really proud of it. I made it using a tote idea then added a base using the tutorial here

And here's the inside. I added a little pocket for my mobile phone and some slots for pens...

Wow! That is your first purse you've made? It looks fantastic! I wish I could do something like this! I really like the fabric you used, and the inside pockets and all!
