These are pumpkin place card holders that I made for Thanksgiving dinner.  They are made of white clay then painted with a yellow tinted gesso.  Next I dry brushed them and painted the cracks with gold acrylic.  Lastly, I curled some gold wire around a pencil to make the loops and pushed them in the pumpkins.  It might not come across in the photos, but they ended up having a pearl-like antique look.  I am very pleased with how they turned out and I got tons of compliments.  There were nine of us at dinner and I only had time to make that many, but I plan on making an even dozen sometime in the future.

These remind me of Cinderella's pumpkin. They would be great for a fantasy wedding.

The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. . . . I would rather have cheese.
